In the Fall of 2000, I had the opportunity to spend 3 days in Washington D.C during Veterans Day. It was a chance to see many of the famous sites such as the Monument, The White House and the Arlington Cemetery. The Cemetery was sobering and immense. This was also the first time I had ever experienced a true Fall. The colors of Fall are amazing and it has become my favourite season of the year. While walking around the cemetery I came across a group of people waiting in line and thought I would join. I ended up being in a small group of people able to watch a speech given by President George Bush.
