During the cold month of February, if you went jogging, walking or bicycling through Central Park you would undoubtedly notice something a little different. You'd be greeted with a total of 7,500 bright saffron "gates" each 16 feet high with bright orange fabric hanging down 7 feet off the gorund. These gates will be positioned around 23 miles of walkways around the park.
Considering the bleakness of mid winter NYC, it was a perfect scene to brighten up some drab New York winter days.
