The Zocalo in Mexico City has a huge mix of everything going on all at the same time. Each day, we would walk through the Zocalo on our way to the metro or just wandering around to see what was happening, and each day something new would end up being there. Aztec dancers, shoe-shiners, merchants, protesters, a troupe from Ballet Folklorico performing, a book fair, a home owners convention, displays and outside brick ovens preparing Pan bread for Dia De Los Muertos, mime artist, lots and lots of people, and the list keeps going.
